In my pantry, I have a 500 count box of mixed tea bags, but no one in my household drinks tea. So why do I have them? Check out these amazing uses for tea bags:
The natural qualities in tea makes for a great organic fertilizer. Plus, if you've got hanging plants, placing a tea bag directly over the hole will prevent leaks
2. Heal Dry Skin
Put 2 or 3 Green Tea bags under the faucet as you are running a hot bath. The antioxidants in Green Tea will rehydrate your skin
3. Neutralize your Litter Box
Even if you clean your litter box everyday, there are some litters (and some cats) that will always have an odor. Place a few used (but dried) tea bags into the litter. Tea has a natural antibacterial effect that will neutralize any odors.
After preparing tea, dip a cloth into it and wipe down your wood furniture.
The shine you get is incomparable!
5. At Home Facials
Placing a few warm wet tea bags onto your face will tighten your pores, and reduce under-eye bags and puffiness.
6. Wart Removal
The natural ingredients in Black Tea can significantly reduce warts. Place a warm wet tea bag onto the wart for 15 minutes a day, in the morning and at night. In a few days, the wart will dissipate after only a few days!
Not only can tea bags work great in a litter box, but they work just as good in your home. If you've got stinky shoes, place an unused tea bag in each one for a few days. Same goes for closets, refrigerators, and anywhere else you have unwanted odor.
8. Dental issues
I always have problems with my teeth. Tea bags are extremely beneficial in the mouth.Using warm wet tea bags against abscesses will draw out any infections and dramatically reduce pain. Tea bags are also useful for pulled teeth. Placing a tea bag over the empty hole will stop bleeding, and reduce pain! Try them on canker sores too - the results are great.
Using used tea bags for crafts is a very unique and wonderful technique. You can dye paper, giving an aged effect. Or even dye cloths for a unique color.
10. Acne Solutions
Another great use for tea bags and their drawing effect is to place them over zits and pimples. Tea bags draw out infections and impurities, and also reduce puffiness, soreness, and redness!
