First things first, welcome to my Blog! This is my first official post (yay!). And what better way to start it off than with an introduction.
I am a mother to a beautiful 4 year old girl, and wife of 6 years. I love my family, and couldn't ask for anything more in life!!
I left my job in October, and have since been a stay at home mom. I can truly say, it was the best decision I had ever made.
Why leave my job? Well, kiddo is 4 years old, and had been in daycare since she was 2. There are so many things I felt I missed watching her grow up! The first 2 years of her life for 11 hours a day was spent with her grandmother and aunt.
This was the tough part for me: I'd get up at 5:30 in the morning and do my morning routine. At around 6:30, I'd wake her up, load her in the car, and off we went. And until 5:30 pm, I would not see my daughter. Then, once we got home, I'd try to spend as much time as possible with her. However, time has to be put aside for dinner, cleanup, ect. When she was a newborn, she was in bed by 7pm. I never got to see my baby!
It was tough, it really really was! So, leaving my job of 7+ years was honestly the best decisicion I ever made! Now me and kiddo can spend so much time together. I don't feel rushed for time, and I'm actually able to watch her grow and learn, and see the little girl that she is becoming!
Yes, it can get a little tedious watching Disney and Nickelodeon all day...but every minute spent with her is priceless!
